After dropping points last time out in the Premier League, three points against Wolves could prove vital in Arsenal's Premier League title challenge later today.

Arsenal gave up a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 against Aston Villa in their last Premier League outing, leaving the Gunners six points behind leaders Liverpool who have a game in hand. Mikel Arteta's side got back to winning ways in the Champions League midweek as they all but secured their automatic qualification to the knockout stages with a 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb, but now all attention reverts back to the Premier League.

Wolves sit just outside the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference, with Vitor Pereira's side having lost their last three league games in a row. The last meeting between the two sides ended 2-0 to Arsenal, with Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka getting on the scoresheet.

William Saliba will be absent again for the Gunners, while Myles Lewis-Skelly is a doubt after missing the Champions League clash on Wednesday through injury. So, can Arsenal pick up a much-needed three points against Wolves? Let's take a look.

We simulated Wolves vs Arsenal to get a score prediction

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that the hosts could line up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Sa; Doherty, Bueno, Agbadou; Semedo, Gomes, Andre, Ait-Nouri; Guedes, Cunha; Strand Larsen.

We predict that Arsenal could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Raya; Timber, Kiwior, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Martinelli, Havertz, Trossard.

Two minutes in, Wolves found themselves in the lead when a miss-hit back pass from Jurrien Timber allowed Matheus Cunha to go one-on-one with David Raya, and the Brazilian made no mistake with his finish. The Gunners had given themselves a mountain to climb, but two goals in quick succession before half-time saw Arteta's side enter the break with the lead.

As we've seen so often this season, Gabriel headed home from a corner in the 39th minute to make it 1-1, tipping momentum into Arsenal's favour. Moments later, the Gunners made it 2-1, this time through Leandro Trossard with the Belgian volleying Gabriel Martinelli's cross past the 'keeper from close range.

Three minutes after the restart Arsenal grabbed a third, with Trossard striking once again to open up a two-goal gap between the sides. The Belgian's back-post header seemed to knock any confidence out of the hosts, and with 12 minutes to go, the Gunners wrapped up the three points.

Martin Odegaard led an Arsenal counterattack after his side won back possession in the halfway line, with Kai Havertz making himself an option to his left. After receiving the ball, the German took on his man before firing past the 'keeper at the near post, making it 4-1 and putting the game to bed.
