Wonderful scenes at Old Trafford as Luke Littler parades World Championship trophy
IT was another moment Luke 'The Nuke' Littler will never forget as he was serenaded at Old Trafford.
The boyhood Manchester United fan paraded the Sid Waddell Trophy at the home of the Reds as 'Walking in a Littler Wonderland' was sung from high up in the stands.
Warrington 17-year-old Littler, a keen footballer himself in his youth before focusing solely on darts, showed off the silverware he lifted in the World Darts Championship earlier this month to almost 74,000 crammed inside United's home ground during half-time of the Premier League clash with Brighton.
Winning the iconic trophy and £500,000 purse against Michael van Gerwen at Alexandra Palace on January 3 was a dream come true for the former Padgate Academy student, and sharing his achievement with fellow United fans was the icing on the cake.
There is still the cherry on top to come from a Warrington homecoming in whatever form - the Warrington Wolves fan's packed schedule allowing.

While it was such a magical moment for Littler inside United's Theatre of Dreams, it was a day of raw emotion as Old Trafford paid tribute to United great Dennis Law, who died, aged 84, on Friday.
Ruben Amorim's struggling side could not mark the occasion with a victory salute.
At the time Littler had his moment in the spotlight, United were on level terms at 1-1 but conceded twice in the second half to record their fourth home defeat in five games.
