After England failed to see off Croatia having taken an early lead through Kieran Trippier, their opponents came roaring back into the match.

Ivan Perisic levelled the tie, before Mario Mandzukic slotted home the winning goal in extra time.

To make matters worse, the Three Lions lost to Belgium again to finish fourth as Eden Hazard and Thomas Meunier downed England in a 2-0 defeat.

But when the dust has settled, the campaign will have been seen as a very successful one for the Three Lions.
