Al-Hilal reportedly have representatives in London as of Friday night finalising a pre-agreement contract for Mohamed Salah's summer arrival from Liverpool. Rumour has picked up once again this week that the Egyptian's future lies elsewhere beyond the end of the season.

Salah has remained open about his Liverpool future whilst Anfield chiefs have worked towards securing a contract extension, though at this stage to no avail. Speaking at the start of the month, the 32-year-old frankly admitted: "Do I believe this is my last season? So far, yeah. It's the last six months. There is nothing, no progress there and we are far away from any progress, so we just need to wait and see."

And whilst this is the case, within the final six months of his deal there is nothing stopping Salah from entertaining rival offers from foreign clubs.

Over the past two years Saudi Arabia has been touted as a most reasonable destination if he were to leave Liverpool. Now speaking on the Gulf state's KSA Sports Channel, pundit Khaled Al-Shenaif says a deal is practically done.

"According to the information we have, Al-Hilal president Fahad bin Nafel and Saad Al Lazeez are currently in London to finalise the signings of a 2003-born player and Mohamed Salah.

"Everything has been agreed upon. The only thing left is for both players to sign. This transfer will take place over the summer, before the Club World Cup," he explains, as per Anfield Watch.

This marks a huge jump in just 24 hours, as back then it was rumoured Al-Hilal were only readying their offer.

Virgil van Dijk, as he is out contract soon too, has also been linked. Al-Khenaif concludes: "Salah is a 99 percent Al-Hilal player, while Virgil van Dijk is very close."

In another blow for the Reds this January, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia has officially signed for Paris Saint-Germain.

Last week the 23-year-old handed in a transfer request at Napoli. As a club who held admiration, Liverpool were put on alert but as the ECHO understood made no contact with officials at the Italian club.

PSG were ahead in the race from the offset, reports would make it seem, and they have gone on to finalise a four-and-a-half year deal apparently worth a base €70m (£59.1m) fee with €10m (£8.4m) in add-ons.

Taking Kylian Mbappe's former No.7 shirt, Kvaratskhelia told the club website: "It’s a dream to be here. I’ve heard so many positive things about Paris Saint-Germain. I feel immense pride in joining this great club and I’m really looking forward to wearing my new colours."
