Wrexham forward nominated for monthly goal award while with Reading
Wrexham forward Sam Smith has been nominated for Goal of the Month while still with Reading.
The 26-year-old sealed a £2m move to the Racecourse Ground before last week's deadline and is yet to find the net for the Red Dragons.
However, he has 11 League One goals so far this season and his impressive strike against former club Cambridge United has caught the attention of the EFL.

Harvey Knibbs had netted a brace already and with the match poised at 2-1, Smith looped Lewis Wing's diagonal pass over the onrushing goalkeeper to seal a 3-1 victory on New Year's Day.
Smith netted just twice more after this one at the Abbey Stadium before moving to North Wales.
Former Reading midfielder Oliver Norwood, now of Stockport County, is nominated alongside Smith, Jamie Donley of Leyton Orient and Keshi Anderson of Birmingham City.
Smith will return with Wrexham, and manager Phil Parkinson, as the Royals host the promotion chasers on March 11.
