Multiple WWE stars have switched brands as Matthew McConaughey made a surprise SmackDown appearance.

The shake-up sees many brawlers depart Raw with both brands able to retain their own talents for an extended period. During the latest Friday night SmackDown, The Miz and Damian Priest moved from Raw to Smackdown and the A-Town Down Under tag team of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller was moved to Raw.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis told The A-Lister of his trade during a backstage scene. The Miz, meanwhile thought he was invited to interview Kevin Owens to help boost viewers. Once he found out about the trade, he cast his mind to The Wyatt Sicks who could have The Miz in their crosshairs.

On his first night as a part of the Smackdown roster, Priest defeated Carmelo Hayes in a singles match. After the match, Cody Rhodes welcomed Priest to the Smackdown roster. Priest thanked him, but then told him, "I'll see you soon" - a clear message that he'll be looking for a shot at Rhodes' world championship.
