York Knights move Challenge Cup tie to honour Hull KR fixture as first BBC pick made
York Knights have moved their Challenge Cup second-round tie by a further week due to their involvement in the Amsterdam Challenge against Hull KR next month. The Championship outift will take on the Robins in the Netherlands at the end of January, meaning their tie against the Cougars has been pushed back to February.
The tie will now take place on Sunday 2 February, with Rovers meeting the Knights on the weekend of January 25/26. The Amsterdam friendly was lauched several months ago, with the two clubs pencilling in the date well before the cup draw was made four weeks ago.
However, York and Keighley have now agreed a new date with the RFL, with the friendly against the Robins to go ahead as planned.

Elsewhere, the Challenge Cup's first TV pick has been confirmed, with the first round tie between North West and National Conference League Premier Divison rivals Waterhead Warriors and Leigh Miners Rangers on Saturday, January 11, set to be streamed. The tie will be shown live via the BBC Red Button, BBC Sport app/online, and the iPlayer.
