Is York Knights v Hull KR on TV? How to watch, live stream details, kick-off time
While the rugby league season has already started for all the sides outside of the top flight, tonight marks the beginning of the campaign for Hull KR as the 2025 season commences. It's Challenge Cup action and not Super League which greets the start of this year's campaign, with a third round tie for Super League teams the order of the day before the league season starts next week.
A change to the Challenge Cup format this year saw all 12 Super league sides paired against lower league opponents who won through in the second round, which means a game against York Knights for Willie Peters' men.
There are just three Cup games being shown this weekend, with the BBC and The Sportsman sharing coverage.

The game starts a little earlier than many may expect with a 7:30pm kick-off tonight. The LNER Community Stadium is the venue for this match-up, with ambitious York no doubt hoping to spring a shock result, but they'll have to play exceptionally well against what looks like being a strong Rovers side.
