Young forward signs for non-league side who are managed by former Premier League star
Ipswich Town young forward Ashley Boatswain has joined AFC Fylde on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
The 19-year-old has been at the club since the age of 11, progressing through ranks and is now a regular for the Blues' U21s side under John McGreal.
Boatswain has previously spent time on loan at Bury Town and Leiston, while also winning his first full international caps for Montserrat.
He now joins the Coasters, who are managed by former Premier League forward Kevin Phillips, who was appointed head coach at Mill Farm in October last year.
The academy player came on as a half-time sub to make his debut for the fifth tier side as they were beaten 4-1 at Maidenhead United this evening.
