Young Swindon trio head out to Non-League on loans
Swindon Town have loaned out a trio of young players, Redman Evans, Anton Dworzak and Sonny Hart, to gain more experience.
Dworzak has been with Swindon Supermarine since August and has regularly impressed for Stuart Fleetwood’s side in midfield.
He scored the goal and won man of the match last week as they made the Wiltshire Premier Shield final and has been a key man for the side looking to make the playoffs in the Southern League Premier South.
Dworzak made his League Two debut against Barrow in December 2022 under Scott Lindsey before signing a contract until 2025 that April.
Evans has also seen his loan deal extended for the remainder of the season having gained valuable first-team experience for Westbury United.
The 19-year-old first joined Westbury in November and has been their starting goalkeeper ever since and will now end the campaign with the Wiltshire outfit as they chase a playoff place in the Southern League Division One South.
The club announced the move on X, saying: “Redman has been incredible for the club since signing in November, keeping seven clean sheets in 12 games and becoming a firm favourite with players, staff and supporters.”
Having been a key part of Swindon’s run to the under-18s’ run to the FA Youth Cup, Evans signed his first professional contract last summer and made his league debut on the final day of last season as a substitute against Morecambe.
The other loan news has seen youngster Hart move up the football pyramid to join Farnborough of the National League South on an initial one-month loan.
The former under-18s captain started the campaign alongside Jaxon Brown at Canvey Island and was even the club’s player of the month for December during his time there and will now step up to the sixth tier.
The Yellows are currently 11th in the National League South and nine points off the playoff places and Hart arrives to add some defensive stability to their team.
The defender was a second-half substitute against Hemel Hempstead Town in his first game for the club as they were defeated 1-0.
This trio join Town’s current loan contingent of Dylan Mitchell and Sean McGurk, who will have their loans expire before the end of January with Yeovil Town and Hereford respectively, as well as Jaxon Brown who is at Aveley in the National League South and Saidou Khan at Tranmere Rovers.
