Manchester United have just drawn with Everton at Goodison Park. Harry Maguire is chatting to Jarrad Branthwaite in the tunnel, David Moyes asks Darren Fletcher how his two teenage sons are doing while Rasmus Hojlund laughs with Denmark teammate Jesper Lindstrom.

Victor Lindelof joins the conversation with Hojlund and Lindstrom. The Scandinavians are in good spirits and someone cracks a joke, to which Lindelof responds: "Calm down, f****** hell!"

Hojlund had a wide smile on his face but said "no" when he was asked whether he would chat about the game as he passed the mixed zone. Bruno Fernandes politely declined and explained that he'd already spoken to the broadcasters.

Chido Obi's name had been chanted by the away section and he contributed just as much from the bench as Hojlund did in his 70 minutes on the pitch. "Good," Obi said with a smile when asked whether he'd enjoyed his 20-minute cameo.

The players gradually started to make their way towards the team bus ahead of the trip back to Manchester.

Maguire was one of the first United players to emerge from the dressing room. Maguire and Jordan Pickford - international teammates for eight years - were in deep discussion as Branthwaite left to head towards the home dressing room.

Unsurprisingly, Everton's late penalty decision that was overturned after referee Andy Madley was instructed to consult the pitchside monitor was top of the agenda for Maguire and Pickford.

Moyes said he "couldn't understand" the controversial decision during his post-match press conference and was bemused when told VAR did not look at Matthijs de Ligt's tussle with Ashley Young.

Young was overheard chatting about the decision in the dressing room. Maguire and Pickford's chat about the decision was suddenly interrupted by James Tarkowski.

"H [Harry], you better get out of here quick, you s*** yourself!" he said. "It's not a pen, but I'm surprised they overturned it," Maguire appeared to say before suggesting Young "hadn't helped himself" by throwing himself to the ground.

The debate in the bowels of Goodison Park continued. The conversation between Maguire, Pickford and Tarkowski was light-hearted, although they naturally voiced different opinions on whether VAR should have overturned the penalty decision.

Everton were utterly dominant in the first half against United and should have been out of sight. However, they couldn't score a third goal when play resumed after the interval, which allowed United to stage an unlikely comeback thanks to goals from Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte.

Rio Ferdinand strolled through the tunnel and clasped hands with players from both sides. Moyes was asked to share his thoughts on leaving Goodison as he walked to his press conference and the former United boss admitted the old stadium would be sorely missed - but also said he was looking forward to managing at the new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock.

United's final game at the historic Goodison Park was certainly dramatic, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the debate over the overturned penalty decision continues for a few more days.
