World Cup 2018: Day 6 in pictures
We’re almost a week into the 2018 Russian World Cup which means the four teams in Group H are finally given their chance to show the world their stuff.
The opening match in Group H saw plenty of drama and an upset win for Japan as they beat the more-fancied Colombia partly thanks to a third-minute red card for Carlos Sanchez.
The 4pm kick off saw Senegal shock no.8 ranked Poland 2-1, thanks to an own goal and a goalkeeping howler from Wojciech Szczesny.
The day’s action is rounded off with the first second round match in Group A, Mo Salah’s Egypt face hosts Russia desperate for a win to keep their qualification hopes in their own hands.
