[SOUND EFFECTS] [MUSIC PLAYING] ERIC EDHOLM: Florida State edge rusher Jermaine Johnson II transferred from Georgia before last season and he broke out as one of the country's best pass rushers in 2021 in Tallahassee. On the upside, Johnson is a terrific athletic specimen with explosiveness, strength, quickness, and he went down to the Senior Bowl and dominated most of the best tackles there in the first two practice sessions. He also backed that up with a very strong Combine workout. On the downside, he really only had one year of elite production in college. He's a bit of an older prospect at age 23. And he can be just a little stiff as a rusher and undisciplined at times. For a comp, we see Johnson as somewhat of a DeMarcus Lawrence clone, and that's a pretty good thing.
