Simone Biles, Suni Lee's stellar floor routines secure gold and bronze in all-around final

Yahoo Sports' Shawn Johnson recaps the women's gymnastics all-around final in Paris, highlighting Simone Biles' gold and Suni Lee's bronze for Team USA.

Video transcript

Hello, Sean Johnson from Yahoo Sports.

Here are my biggest takeaways from Thursday's all around finals.

I'm not gonna lie.

It was a little closer than I expected it to be, but it made it the best show.

Rebecca Andrade brought her a game and ended up managing to get second.

She had beautiful, really difficult, strong gymnastics and amazing execution.

It was pretty close.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd rotation was small mistakes.

But on the fourth rotation on floor Simone Biles and Suny Lee just kind of lit up.

You could see them kind of fall into the crowds roars and applause.

They were flawless, beautiful beaming and came in 1st and 3rd.

I really feel like the redemption story for both of them is just the greatest success and they're just gaining momentum.

And I'm really excited for the individual finals where I think they'll rack up a lot more medals for more Olympic gymnastics news.
