Alejandro Garnacho Man United transfer hint as Napoli take drastic action
Napoli are reportedly stepping up their interest in Anderlecht's left winger Francis Amuzu after their approach for Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho was rejected.
MEN Sport understands a £40m bid from the Naples club for Garnacho was rejected this month. The Reds were thought to be keen on sticking to their approximate £60m valuation of the winger with the insentive of a 'pure profit' sale thought to be high.
However, since having their bid rejected, Antonio Conte's side have gone quiet in their pursuit of the forward. The Manchester Evening News reported last week that Chelsea have become the new frontrunners for Garnacho as we head towards deadline day.

That information now corresponds with the news coming out of Belgium that indicates that Amuzu is now on Napoli's radar. Journalist Fabrizio Romano understands that the Serie A giants are leading the race for the 25-year-old who has managed four goals and three assists this season for Anderlecht.
Fellow journalist Sacha Tavolieri adds that the Belgian club are now anticipating that Amuzu will be leaving their club in the next few hours. Should Napoli sign the winger, Garnacho will almost certainly not be joining Napoli.
His future will of course remain in doubt until the window finally closes. Garnacho was picked to start on the bench against FCSB in the Europa League on Thursday night but Ruben Amorim was complementary of the forward in his pre-match interview with TNT Sports.
"I’m happy to have Garnacho here," the Portuguese manager said. "He’s improving a lot. He’s a young talented guy. You want to work with these guys with talent.
"That’s what drives the coaches to improve the team; to have these kinds of players that you know they are going to improve a lot. In football, especially when we are in these situations, sometimes it’s hard, but I don’t want to focus on that - I’m really happy to have Garnacho playing tomorrow."
