Arsenal player ratings vs Everton as Tomiyasu and Odegaard show fight but Partey poor

David Raya: Unlucky not to get another clean sheet with the deflected free kick. Made one superbly-held save from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and was decent on the ball for the most part. 6.

Ben White: Got forward a lot as Arsenal looked to get the goal they needed. His delivery wasn't always the best but it was still a decent overall display to end the season. 6.

William Saliba: Struggled a bit with how often Everton had Arsenal running back to their own goal. You don't see that happening very often. No obvious errors though. 6.

Gabriel: A shame to see him go off with what looked like a shoulder injury ahead of the Copa America. Didn't really do an awful lot wrong in his time on the pitch. 6.

Takehiro Tomiyasu: Unexpectedly one of Arsenal's most threatening attacking outlets. Got a goal and could have had more. Showed his versatility again by filling in at left back right at the end. 8.

Thomas Partey: Not at his best on the ball once again. A few wayward passes and found himself easily pressure. Some decent moments playing forward, but not a performance to suggest he's the long-term solution at six for Arsenal. 5.

Martin Odegaard: Tried to keep heads up as they dropped with the drip feed of news in from the Etihad Stadium. A superb assist for Tomiyasu. 7.

Declan Rice: Offered very little attacking threat when in the eight position. Actually missed a good chance. Then deflected Everton's free kick in. Not a vintage display. 5.

Gabriel Martinelli: Some decent moments down the right wing including one low shot that forced a superb save from Pickford. One of his better recent displays. 7.

Kai Havertz: A few decent runs in behind, but largely quiet as an offensive presence until tapping home the winner late on in the game. 6.

Leandro Trossard: A quiet day for the Belgian who has been so influential recently Not really noticeable as an attacking presence on the day. 6.

SUBSTITUTES -

Oleksandr Zinchenko: Added a bit more attacking thrust down the left after coming on. Quiet for the most part though. 6.

Jurrien Timber: A popular change. Looked at ease with a lot of what Arsenal were trying to do tactically. 6.

Emile Smith Rowe: Made things happen after coming on. Looked a real attacking threat. Hit the bar with a volley that could have gone in, and looked likely to grab Arsenal a goal. 7.

Gabriel Jesus: May have been fortunate not to have the goal he created ruled out, but deserved it for his initiative up top. 7.
