Atletico Madrid are without Mario Hermoso for their Champions League quarter-final clash with Borussia Dortmund tonight.

The defender has been struggling with a thigh issue and missed the last two games for Diego Simeone’s side.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Axel Witsel join Jose Gimenez in a three-man backline, while Thomas Lemar is a long-term absentee after rupturing his Achilles tendon back in September. Memphis Depay also misses the game after suffering a muscle issue.

Dortmund, meanwhile, have defender Nico Schlotterbeck available and starting again in Europe following his suspension against PSV Eindhoven in the last-16.

Edin Terzic’s side remain without Donyell Malen, who is still nursing a thigh complaint.

Ramy Bensebaini is also still sidelined with knee ligament damage, though captain Emre Can starts after illness. Felix Nmecha also gets a surprise call to start with the likes of Julian Brandt, Marco Reus and Sebastien Haller all on the bench.
