Arsenal defender Ben White may have got in the head of Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario before their opening goal in the North London Derby.

The Gunners took the lead on 15 minutes when a whipped delivery from the right-hand side was directed into his own net by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Vicario struggled to take control of his area as the corner came into the area and eagle-eyed fans have spotted why this might be.

As the 'keeper was waiting for the cross to come into the penalty area he was distracted by White who appeared to be messing with Vicario's gloves. The defender unsuccessfully attempted to loosen the strapping but this distraction could have been costly for Tottenham considering the shot-stopper's mind was not firmly on the corner.

Tottenham were unable to recover from that setback in the first half and were 2-0 down 12 minutes later. Bukayo Saka scored from a brilliant breakaway to put the hosts under a lot of pressure.

When Kai Havertz made it 3-0 from a corner on 38 minutes, it seemed as though Spurs were out of the game entirely. However, with 25 minutes to go, they were handed a lifeline.

A mistake by David Raya saw the ball hit Cristian Romero who controlled it to slot home. Spurs pulled another back with four minutes remaining as Son Heung-min scored from the penalty spot after a Declan Rice foul.
