Jak Alnwick 7

Had a couple of shaky moments, but produced some pretty good saves and was largely solid for the most part. A decent outing.

Another accomplished outing at right-back.

Dimitrios Goutas 7

Mopped up at the heart of defence really well. No Cardiff player made more tackles.

Jesper Daland 6

Might well have been in line for criticism had Salvesen headed home an equaliser as he'd completely lost him. Fairly solid otherwise.

Perry Ng 6

Was pretty good out of possession, but looked a little uncomfortable with the ball at his feet at times.

Calum Chambers 7

Another solid showing in front of the back four.

Joe Ralls (c) 7

At the heart of Cardiff's opener. Pulled the strings really well after the break.

Alex Robertson 6

Got himself into some good positions, but this was perhaps one of his quieter outings. Subbed.

Chris Willock 6

Fair amount of energy, but not enough quality at key moments. Subbed.

Cian Ashford 7

Missed a really good chance at 2-0 to put the game beyond any doubt, but was actually really good in the build-up for much of the afternoon. Subbed.

Callum Robinson 8 - STAR MAN

Well-taken goal, and an assist. Not in the game at all really in the first half, but the introduction of El Ghazi seemed to bring the best out of him. Subbed.

Subs:

Anwar El Ghazi (on for Willock 56) - His introduction changed the game. Took his goal really well - 8

Yousef Salech (on for Robertson 67) - Lively cameo. Should have scored late on - 7

Will Fish (on for Robinson 84) - Nothing to really take issue with - 6

Yakou Meite (on for Asheford 84) - Produced a brilliant bit of defending late on to keep Derby at bay - 7
