Omer Riza reveals Cardiff City transfer plan as Ajax star reportedly set for loan move
Cardiff City are reportedly closing in on a loan move for Ajax midfielder Sivert Mannswerk.
According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, the 22-year-old is poised to sign with the Bluebirds until the end of the season, having also been the subject of interest from German side FC Nurnberg.
A holding midfielder, Mannswerk, has struggled for game time this season having been sidelined with an ankle injury.

The move would be Cardiff's second signing of the January window, with the club previously completing a move for striker Yousef Salech.
Riza has previously stated he wanted to bring a few more bodies through the door before the close of the window, a message he repeated when quizzed after the win over Derby County.
"We've got everything in hand in respect of transfers," he said.
"Everything's still ongoing. We've still got nine or ten days left and conversations have been good with players, the board and the clubs. So hopefully things will move forward in the next three to five to six days. Hopefully."
Cardiff head into the final week of the window in high sprits, having extended their unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions with victory over the Rams on Saturday.
“It was a really important game. Swansea’s a really big game, Millwall was a tough game but this one was what we really needed. We’ve faltered when we’ve needed to take those points and climb with a bit of space between us and the teams around us. We did that today and that’s a really important step.
“It’s extra pleasing because we need it. There are still elements there I feel we could do better because we could make life easier for ourselves. Second half I thought we got that right.
“It’s really important, coming off a run when we didn’t win in nine. There was always an element of competitiveness in those games but we weren’t doing what we’re doing now. It’s important we had this block of games. The attitude and mindset is more aggressive. We’re building that now, credit to the players. Other teams have lost around us or drawn. We just have to keep pushing forwards.”
