Casemiro has dropped an early team news hint ahead of Manchester United's FA Cup clash with Leicester City on Friday night. Ruben Amorim's men host the Foxes looking to keep their European dreams alive this season.

United's hopes of bringing European football to Old Trafford next campaign via the Premier League require a major turnaround in fortune. After 24 games, the Red Devils are in 13th-place meaning the Europa League and FA Cup is their best bet.

Leicester travel to Old Trafford looking to find some form themselves. Ruud van Nistelrooy's side have won just two games since the turn of the year and find themselves in the bottom three.

United aren't in action until next Sunday against Tottenham meaning Amorim is likely to name a strong team against the Foxes. New signing Patrick Dorgu could make his debut while Ayden Heaven is in line to be in the matchday squad.

However, there is also scope for the United boss to give some minutes to players struggling to break into the team. Casemiro played 18 minutes in the Europa League win over FCSB but hasn't played in England since the 2-0 defeat to Newcastle.

Ahead of the clash, the Brazilian posted a pre-match graphic preview of the Leicester fixture on his Instagram story. Usually, although not certain, this suggests that he could be involved in some capacity.

Should Casemiro be named in the starting XI, it could mean Bruno Fernandes is pushed slightly forward as one of the three forward lines. After playing Kobbie Mainoo as a false 9 against Crystal Palace, a change is expected to happen for the visit of Leicester.
