Chelsea forward Aggie Beever-Jones has received her first senior England call-up ahead of the Lionesses' upcoming EURO 2025 qualifiers.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed an impressive individual campaign for the Blues, scoring 11 goals in 15 Women’s Super League (WSL) games this term. She has long been part of England's Under-23s set-up but has now been named in Sarina Wiegman's 24-player squad for the Lionesses' double-header against France in May and June and July’s qualifiers against the Republic of Ireland and Sweden.

"Aggie has had a very good improvement, she is doing really well," Wiegman said on Tuesday. "She is an open person. She wants to develop every single day on the pitch."

Chelsea defender Millie Bright has also received her first call-up since October after spending five months on the sidelines with a knee injury. "I am very happy, she is very happy. She has started paying again after a long period of injury," Wiegman said.

"It is very good, she had two more games and then she will come into camp. It's a great boost, this is what she has been competing for. We all hoped she would be back earlier but she needed more time."

Wiegman has also named a standby list which includes Manchester United's Maya le Tissier, Liverpool's Missy Bo Kearns, Southampton's Kayla Rendell and Tottenham Hotspur's Jess Naz. The Lionesses face France at Newcastle’s St James’ Park on May 31 and again in Saint-Etienne on June 4.

The same squad will then join up for three separate training camps at St George’s Park ahead of facing the Republic of Ireland at Norwich’s Carrow Road on July 12 and Sweden in Gothenburg on July 16.
