England fans at home and in Russia have had to have a double take as two lookalikes have stolen the show.

A Harry Kane doppelganger has football fans chanting his name as England get ever closer to the ultimate glory.

Danny Mclaughlin has posed for hundreds of photographs and videos thanks to his resemblance to the Tottenham star.

Then on Monday the Gareth Soutgate in-the-stands was finally unmasked.

Following victory over Sweden, pictures began to emerge of the waistcoat-wearing England manager in with fans.

It wasn’t Southgate but Surrey’s Neil Rowe, a British Airways pilot who has found fame on the Three Lions march to the semi-finals.

Kane lookalike Mclaughlin, 26, says life in Essex has become a challenge thanks to the the six-goal striker’s success.

He said: “As soon as I walk into the pub, people scream. There were queues of people asking for my photo – men and women of all ages.

“Last Saturday, some ladies even thought I was him! It is weird when you catch people taking a photo of you.

“Last Thursday, I was approached by somebody at the station who asked me if I knew I looked like Harry Kane.

“Before I knew it, I’d missed my train.”

But the council worker’s client facing weekend job at Westfield shopping centre in West London, where he works on the service desk as a team manager, even has Danny posing for photos and videos during his shifts.

He said: “People come up to me and ask my colleagues to take photos of me with them.”

“When England played Tunisia, a couple asked my colleague to take a video of me for their grandson.”
