Everton takes subtle dig at Liverpool with game program for Merseyside Derby
Everton chose a picture of Mikel Arteta celebrating against Liverpool for the front cover of the match program for the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
Arsenal boss Arteta spent six years of his playing career with the Toffees and scored in a memorable 2-0 win over Roy Hodgson's Reds in October 2010.
The Spaniard blasted home from distance before celebrating furiously, running towards the corner of the pitch and jumping in the air with a clenched fist. Arteta's 50th-minute goal was the Toffees' second in the game after Tim Cahill had opened the scoring in the first half.

Tonight's game is David Moyes' first Merseyside derby since returning to the club, and that 2-0 win was the last time the Scot tasted victory in a match against Liverpool during his first stint as Toffees boss.

Arteta will no doubt be watching tonight's match and hoping his old side can do the Gunners a favor by producing a surprise victory to help his new team in the title race.
If the Reds win at Goodison Park, they will move nine points clear at the top of the Premier League with just 14 games remaining, and it would take a significant downturn from that point for the Arne Slot's men to fail to win the title.
Arsenal received a significant blow this week with the news that Kai Havertz is set to miss the remainder of the campaign with a serious hamstring injury.
Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are also currently sidelined, leaving Leandro Trossard, Raheeem Sterling and the novice Ethan Nwaneri as the only attacking options available to Arteta for the foreseeable future.
