Manchester United are back in FA Cup action tonight as they face Leicester City at Old Trafford.

United take on the Foxes in the fourth round of the competition as they continue their defence of the famous trophy. Ruben Amorim's side claimed a victory over Arsenal via a penalty shootout in the previous round last month to set up a clash against Leicester.

While United have been struggling for consistent form in the Premier League, the FA Cup presents a chance for Amorim to win his first major trophy since being named as the club's head coach.

Standing in their way is a Leicester team that beat Queens Park Rangers in the third round, with a place in the last-16 up for grabs.

This season has seen a major change to the FA Cup, with replays being scrapped from the first round proper onwards. As a result, ties will be decided on the night with no possibility of a reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium, as would have been the case in previous years.

Should United be held to a draw after 90 minutes against Leicester, there will be an additional 30 minutes of extra time. If there is still nothing to separate the two teams, then the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout, just as United did to beat Arsenal in the third round.

Victory for United would see them progress to the fifth round, which is scheduled to be played early next month. The fixture would fall just a few days before United have the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie, of which their opponent is yet to be confirmed.
