Manchester United's latest signing answers Roy Keane demand that Ruben Amorim will love
New Manchester United wing-back Patrick Dorgu has spoken for the first time to the club's official channels after signing for the Old Trafford giants.
The move to United is a big one for the Denmark international having represented Lecce in Serie A this term. Over the past few years, plenty of players have struggled with the weight of expectation that accompanies a switch to the Reds, but Dorgu insists that mentality is one of his biggest strengths.
"For me [having a strong mentality], it's the most important thing, because there's a lot of talk about and around football," he said. "And you really need to be strong outside of football, as well.

"And, when I've been in Italy, I have lived alone. Of course, my family is visiting me a lot, but you need to be really good mentally to stay focused and being concentrated on football."
While this will be music to the ears of Ruben Amorim who has spoken at length about United players needing to be committed to the cause, Roy Keane will also undoubtedly be pleased to hear Dorgu's insistence on mentality. Speaking last January, the former United captain was critical about the current crop of players and how they deal with the pressures of playing for the Reds.
"It looks like, over the last few months, that pressure of playing for Manchester United has got to them a little bit," he said. "Obviously we don't know the characters, the dynamics inside the dressing room, but you look around and see names on the walls that have won big trophies, won World Cups.
"You'd hope that the dynamics, when they come to play for United, that they would actually enjoy it. We've been critical of United over the last few years, the recruitment, the stadium facilities... but it's a great place to come and play football.
"I just hope there's enough character and leadership in this dressing room to get the club back to where it used to be, it's a long road to go." New signing Dorgu could make his debut for United in the FA Cup on Friday night (8pm) - when they host Ruud van Nistelrooy's Leicester City.
