Gabby Logan 'emotional' as son makes big change after husband Kenny hid true feelings
Scotland U20s call-up Reuben Logan has revealed how his parents have reacted to his call-up for the Six Nations.
The son of Match of the Day host Gabby and former Scotland international Kenny has thrown his lot in with the nation his dad represented 70 times, having previously been part of England age-grade squads.
The 19-year-old, who plays for Northampton, has turned out for England U18s, while he was included England's U20s Elite Player Squad earlier this season.

The grandson of former Wales footballer Terry Yorath, Logan could easily have opted to wear three feathers on his chest, rather than a rose or a thistle.
Speaking about how his dad Kenny has reacted to his decision to choose Scotland over England and Wales, he told journalists: “He's pretty happy, I think.
"He pretended when I was with England that he was happy with it, but he really wasn't, and he's made that very clear now. He struggled with it, and I think he's, yeah, he's very, very happy.”
On mum Gabby’s response, he added: “I think she was just as emotional as my dad, because, obviously, she's seen my dad wear that shirt.”
Explaining his decision to represent Scotland in greater detail, he said: "When I was younger, I was involved in the English set-up, and that was for a number of reasons, because I wanted to sign for an English club and it's much easier to get involved with an English club if you're in the English pathway.
“As I got older, opportunities in England weren't necessarily there, and if you can find pictures of me online wearing a Scottish shirt [at the Euros] in the summer, or wearing a Scottish shirt when I was younger...I've always been a Scottish fan and when you see your dad play for Scotland, and you see all the rugby around the house, it's obviously quite inspiring.
“So when you need an opportunity, and you consider yourself Scottish, it's obviously quite an easy choice to make.
“I spoke to my dad about it, and then Peter Walton [Scottish Rugby’s Scottish-qualified performance player transition manager] got in contact with me, and it all sort of just went from there."
Logan Jr also revealed he had tried his hand at gymnastics, the sport in which Gabby had represented Wales and Great Britain before her career as a television presenter, and football - following in the footsteps of his grandfather.
“I did try (gymnastics) but I wasn't very good, shockingly, so that was nipped in the bud pretty quickly,” he said.
He added: “I was fairly horrendous at football.
“I would have loved to have been in the Tartan Army, don't get me wrong, but I was fairly horrendous. I had a good left peg, but not much skills after that. Maybe in another life.”
