Phil Jagielka (Everton) – £16

Position: Defender

Gameweek 34 Fixture: West Ham (away)

Jags is on fire. Three goals in his last three matches has raked in the points for those fantasy managers who put their faith in him. Can he make it four from four? I want to be a part it if he does.

As well as his potential for attacking returns, I feel Jagielka and co. can keep a clean sheet away at West Ham. Andy Carroll has joined Michail Antonio in the treatment room so the Hammers will be lacking firepower up front for this one and with Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gueye shielding the back four, Everton are a difficult side to break down. We just need Joel Robles to actually do his job and make some saves.

Alvaro Negredo (Middlesbrough) – £14

Position: Forward

Gameweek 34 Fixture: Bournemouth (away)

Middlesbrough don’t score goals (23 in 32 league matches this season) so why am I tipping Negredo this week? Boro need three points – to get three points they need to score more goals than Bournemouth. In Alvaro Negredo, they possess a goalscorer who has remembered where the goal is in recent weeks with 2 in his last 3 appearances. Only Hull (67) and Swansea (68) have conceded more goals than the Bournemouth (63) this season. We are at the point in the fantasy season where it is time to take a risk or two and the Spaniard fits into the risk category perfectly this weekend.

Harry Maguire (Hull City) – £13

Position: Defender

Gameweek 34 Fixture: Watford (home)

It took Maguire until GW31 to register his first league goal of the season but he followed that up with another against Stoke last time out. Hull’s home form has been very impressive with three wins out of three recently and manager Marco Silva hasn’t lost a home game as a manager in over three years. Watford have hit the desired 40 points mark and have little to play for whereas Hull are fighting for Premier League survival. I’m backing Maguire for fantasy returns this weekend at both ends of the pitch.

Christian Benteke (Crystal Palace) – £18

Position: Forward

Gameweek 34 Fixture: Liverpool (away)

‘Benteke returns to haunt his former club’ – I can see Monday’s newspaper headlines already. The Belgian has found form at the right time for Palace and he’s helped them move away from the relegation zone. In his last four matches, he’s hit the back of the net three times and he’ll be relishing his return to Anfield. The Reds have concerns over the fitness of defenders Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan going into this fixture which makes Benteke even more appealing.
