'I'm part of it now' - Jürgen Klopp vows to make Liverpool return amid message to Arne Slot
Jürgen Klopp has vowed to return to Anfield in the future to watch Liverpool, even if Arne Slot doesn’t want him there.
Klopp is in the final month of his time in charge of the Reds, with just three games remaining before he bids farewell. His penultimate home game later today sees Liverpool face Tottenham.
In two weeks’ time, Klopp will oversee his final game in charge against Wolves in what is set to be an emotional day at Anfield. It seems though that it won’t be the final time he’s at the iconic stadium.

Slot looks set to take over from the German this summer, with the Feyenoord boss expressing his confidence that a deal will get over the line despite not being finalized yet. And he might well have a familiar face watching on at Anfield in the near future.
“I called it ‘Liverpool 2.0’. Liverpool 2.0 doesn’t stop after I leave, it’s just you start again, another project,” Klopp said in an interview with Sky Sports. “That’s how it is. That’s what we did, we a really good squad. From my point of view, an outstanding time.
“It will be super tough not to be part of it anymore in the way I’m part of it now — because I will stay part of it, I will. I will come and watch games, and if whoever is the next manager doesn’t like having me in the stands, this time, I couldn’t be bothered.
“I don’t think he will, but it was always a bit [like that] when I was at Mainz — and I was at Dortmund at that time anyway, you don’t go as a Dortmund manager to watch Mainz games.
“Then I was at Dortmund and came to Liverpool, had no time to go to Dortmund — so I will go there and watch football games [too].”
Klopp also said he would return to watch a parade should Liverpool win the Premier League next season. It’s clear the German is now a fully-fledged Red after his time at the club.
“Spending the last nine years in the way I’ve spent it, I wouldn’t change a second,” he added.
“I would not think ‘ah, I should have done this’ or ‘I should have done that’. Right place, in the right moment, absolutely fantastic.”
Liverpool.com says: Klopp will without doubt be welcome back at Anfield any time. As long as he isn’t turning up to the training ground, we’re sure Slot wouldn’t mind either!
It still feels strange to think he will be waving goodbye to Anfield in just a couple of weeks. That game against Wolves is sure to be a hugely emotional game for everyone associated with Liverpool.
