Jadon Sancho has revealed how he really feels about Marcus Rashford's move to Aston Villa.

Aston Villa announced the loan signing of Rashford from Manchester United on Sunday. The move developed quickly over the weekend, with many presuming Rashford may look at a move to Barcelona but that never came to fruition.

Sancho himself is on loan from United at Chelsea where he has been enjoying his playtime. The pair had both moved following turbulent times at Old Trafford.

Rashford had confirmed his move to Villa on Instagram with a picture of him putting pen-to-paper with the Midlands club. Sancho was one of the first to leave a comment of support, writing: "He's back."

The last time Rashford played a football match was in early December in the Europa League. Since then, he hasn't featured in any of Ruben Amorim's teams bar an appearance on the bench against Newcastle.

In the 27-year-old's 15 Premier League appearances this season has has managed to score four goals and pick up one assist. During the rocky time under Amorim, Rashford made it public in December that he wanted a new challenge.

It wasn't just Sancho who left a message for Rashford. Alejandro Garnacho said: "All the best Rash," whilst Luke Shaw commented: "Good luck my bro." Scott McTominay also left a message of good luck.

Rashford had written a farewell message to Man United under his Instagram post saying: "I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen.

"I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision - I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season, and the managers’ ambitions.

"I just want to play football and am excited to get started. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season."
