Jurgen Klopp leads Anfield in Arne Slot song during farewell speech before Liverpool confirm new man
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Arne Slot will replace him at Liverpool as he implored the supporters to get firmly behind the new manager next season.
Klopp's side ended their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 win over Wolves thanks to first-half goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Jarell Quansah on Sunday.
At full time, Klopp was giving one final address to the supporters after being given a guard of honour by his players before being handed a parting gift from owners Fenway Sports Group, who were present at Anfield to say their goodbyes.
And in a powerful and often humorous speech to the fans at Anfield on the day, Klopp confirmed that Slot is lined up to take charge next term, despite the lack of an official announcement from the club.

"It doesn't feel like an end," Klopp said. "It just feels like the start because I saw a football team today full of energy, creativity, desire, youth. That is one part of development and that is what you need obviously but obviously for a few weeks I have obviously had a lot of attention and it feels uncomfortable but I realise in my time a lot of things.
"People told me I turned them from doubters to believers but that is not true, You did yourself, I just said that we had to and that is a big difference. Nobody tells you know to stop believing and because this club is right now in the best position than ever, well, maybe not ever - I'll have to ask Sir Kenny (Dalglish) - but since a long time, let say it like this, we have this wonderful stadium, wonderful training centre and we have you - the superpower of world football, wow!
"We decide if they are worried or excited, we decide if we believe or don't, we decide if they trust or don't and since today I am one of you, and I keep believing in you.
"Obviously I saw a lot of people crying and it happened to me as well but change is good and I don't know exactly what to expect but if you move with the right attitude into that then it will be fine because the basics are 100% there and that is the team and the new coach, or manager, sorry.
"If you give a s*** about what I want you to sing, actually, I have an idea. I heard the song (I'm So Glad) today a few times and you can do that, I am fine with that but let's now see what the response will be to this: Arne Slot! La la la la.
'"Arne Slot! La la la.
"Now imagine it next season where you are not waiting to see how it starts, no, you run into it and with a new manager you go all in. And you keep believing, which is what you do, you can push the team. Get on your toes before we score, I say we because I am one of you now. I love you to bits."
