Moment thousands welcome Liverpool team bus to Anfield in tidal wave of red for Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool first team arrived at Anfield to wild scenes ahead of the German’s final game as Reds manager.

Supporters had already gathered outside the Titanic Hotel to wave off the Liverpool team coach on its way to Anfield for the Reds’ last game of the season at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

But such scenes could not compare to those at Anfield itself as a large crowd gathered long before the first team had even embarked on their journey to the stadium.

Donned in a sea of red, many wearing the new Liverpool home shirt for the 2024/25 season which was released earlier this week, supporters waved flags and banners in honour of Klopp ahead of the Reds’ arrival.

Meanwhile, chants of ‘Allez Allez Allez’ boomed around Anfield as supporters waited patiently for the team coach’s arrival.

Wolves’ travelling coach arrived at the stadium first, before Liverpool arrived themselves. Sure enough, with Klopp on board, the sight of the Reds’ team bus inevitably led to chants of ‘I’m so glad that Jurgen is a Red’ to the tune of the Beatles’ ‘I feel fine’ as Koptes descended upon Anfield to pay tribute to their departing manager one last time.
