Liverpool injury latest and possible return dates including Diogo Jota amid Jürgen Klopp boost
Liverpool has just two games left at Anfield with Jürgen Klopp in charge. In total, there are only three fixtures left this season and therefore of the German's tenure.
With the Premier League title gone and third spot nearly secured, Liverpool has little riding on the last stretch of the campaign, but it would be nice to finish the year on a high. That would set a positive mood ahead of the summer when Arne Slot will be taking over and a new era will begin.
With a bit of good luck, Liverpool will be able to avoid picking up so many injury issues next season, even though it will have to contend with more fixtures and higher profile games thanks to its return to the Champions League being confirmed. This year, the squad has been ravaged with problem after mounting problem.

Klopp will issue another update on injuries during his pre-Tottenham press conference, which is scheduled for 9.45am BST on Friday (1.45am east coast and 4.45am west coast in the US). For now, Liverpool.com has rounded up the latest.
Thiago Alcântara, Joël Matip and Ben Doak
Given their contracts are set to expire at the end of the season, Thiago Alcântara and Joël Matip have likely played their final match for Liverpool. Both have missed the majority of the campaign through injury and will be 33 by the end of 2024.
Possible return dates: Thiago and Matip are likely to make a return for another club in the summer. Ben Doak might also be back in the summer for Liverpool having had surgery on a knee issue earlier in the calendar year.
Diogo Jota and Conor Bradley
Earlier today, Conor Bradley was back in training with his Liverpool teammates and that Reds boost could mean he is back in contention to face Spurs this weekend. Diogo Jota, meanwhile, is expected to come back before the season finishes, but he hasn't been seen just yet.
Klopp said nine days ago that Jota would be another couple of weeks, which could mean him being back in training next week. Liverpool then faces Aston Villa away from home a week on Monday.
Possible return dates: This weekend for Bradley. Potentially Aston Villa or Wolves for Jota. Klopp will issue another update during his press conference tomorrow.
