Liverpool injury latest and return dates including Diogo Jota and Andy Robertson
Liverpool's long season is beginning to wind down. With only two games left of the season left to play and with the Reds all but out of the title race, all eyes will shift to Jürgen Klopp as he takes charge in his final games before departing after nine years.
There isn't to be the title returning to Anfield as most hoped, but third place is secure and Champions League football is on the cards once again after missing out this season. Klopp's farewell against Wolves on May 19 is sure to be an emotional event and it's going to take some time to get adjusted to seeing a new coach on the Liverpool bench from next season.
For several Klopp players, the end has already come, with injuries ruling them out for the rest of the season, and some won't likely play for the club again amid expiring contracts.

That being said, Klopp has mostly a full strength squad to pick from ahead of his final two league games as manager, as the German will want to win both fixtures and leave on a high, starting against Aston Villa on Monday. Here is the latest on the injury front.
Diogo Jota
The Portuguese forward has endured a tough season with injury, and he's once again on the sidelines with a hip issue. Jota made his comeback after two months out in the Reds' 3-1 win at Fulham on April 21, though has not featured since after suffering a hip injury.
Jota has missed nine league games in 2024 due to injury, but could make it back before the end of the campaign.
Possible return date: Wolves, May 19.
Andy Robertson
The Scot starred in the 4-2 win against Tottenham last weekend, but wasn't spotted in training before Liverpool's trip to Villa Park on Monday evening. Robertson came off after an hour at Anfield against Spurs but did not appear to have a problem when he left the pitch.
Whether Robertson is fit for the Villa game remains to be seen, and he's another that's endured a tough season with injury.
Possible return dates: Unknown.
Thiago Alcântara, Joël Matip, Bobby Clark and Ben Doak
Thiago Alcântara and Joël Matip look to have played their last games for the club, with the pair unlikely to return to action before the end of the season. Matip has been out since December with an ACL injury and Thiago has only played once this season after a brief cameo against Arsenal. Their contracts expire at the end of the season and new deals aren't likely for two of Liverpool's most well-liked players.
Bobby Clark is out for the remainder of the season, as is Ben Doak, with the latter also missing Euro 2024 with Scotland due to a meniscus tear.
Possible return dates: Clark and Doak: next season; Thiago and Matip: unknown.
