Pep Guardiola will be without three first team players against Club Brugge, but could welcome back Oscar Bobb for the first time this season.

Guardiola offered an update on his squad ahead of the must-win Champions League clash, where anything but a victory vs Brugge will see them crash out of the competition. It is not a situation City expected to find themselves in, but their injury crisis has seen them go four games without victory in Europe.

That injury situation hasn't particularly improved, with Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake out in defence, with neither expected to return on Wednesday.

Jeremy Doku is also out 'for a while', and City's three January signings - Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis - are ineligible.

Guardiola confirmed the squad will look the squad as it did against Chelsea this weekend, saying: "The guys who were involved in the last game they are available."

And the manager teased a return for Oscar Bobb, injured since the eve of the Premier League campaign, saying: "I think Oscar comes back as well."

Guardiola also said John Stones 'feels really good' after challenging the centre-back to prove his fitness in the absence of any other senior central defensive options to partner Manu Akanji.
