Manchester City were thumped 5-1 by Arsenal on Sunday as the Gunners moved nine points clear of Pep Guardiola's side.

City remain fourth in the Premier League table following defeats for Newcastle United and Bournemouth on Saturday but will slip a place should Chelsea avoid defeat against West Ham United on Monday night.

The Blues conceded inside two minutes at the Emirates and while they recovered and were briefly level early in the second half, Arsenal instantly replied to lead 2-1 and added three further goals as City capitulated. Here's how the next few weeks look for some of the leading sides.
