Man United discover new Alejandro Garnacho transfer stance amid Chelsea and Napoli links
Alejandro Garnacho wants to put pressure on Manchester United to let him join Napoli before the January transfer window closes, it is claimed.
The Argentine winger has been linked with the Serie A leaders and Chelsea as United aim to bolster their PSR position. Given Garnacho's homegrown status, any potential sale would be pure profit for the Reds, enhancing their capacity to bring in new faces in the January and summer transfer windows.
And Sky Sports Italy claims that Garnacho is pushing for a move to Napoli this month. The Manchester Evening News understands that United had rejected a £40million offer from Napoli for Garnacho, and while it fell below their valuation, a departure from the Reds has not been ruled out

“For Garnacho, Napoli would offer a maximum of €50m,” they are quoted as saying, via SportWitness.
“But the player wants to put pressure on Manchester United to lower the demands for the player’s registration, so as to go down compared to the €70m that the Red Devils would like to collect he knows that this is the only way for the transfer to materialize. This is the news.”
The 20-year-old played well during Thursday night's 2-1 win over Rangers and received a warm reception from the Old Trafford crowd. Garnacho has scored eight goals for United so far this season.
Meanwhile, fellow academy products Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo have also been linked with exits, with Rashford's move seeming more probable. The forward has not played since a 2-1 victory over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on December 12.
