Man United hero David De Gea sends Antony three-word message as January transfer confirmed
Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has wished ex-teammate Antony good luck after he completed his loan with Real Betis until the end of the season.
The Brazilian international arrived in Spain on Friday night to put the finishing touches to his loan move to Betis. An agreement which sees the winger move to the La Liga side doesn't feature an option for Antony to move permanently in the summer.
After completing his £86.3million move in September 2022 from Ajax, Antony has struggled to adapt to English football. After scoring on his debut against Arsenal, he scored just 12 times in 96 appearances.

His only goal this season came in the EFL Cup third round win against Barnsley, helping them secure a 7-0 win. Now, he will spend the rest of the season at Betis and it is understood that they will cover a large percentage of his wage.
On social media, Antony confirmed his delight at his move. Writing on Instagram alongside five pictures, he wrote: "Intense day! Made a new story!"
Among the thousands of comments from the green and white supporters, De Gea joined current United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir in wishing the winger luck in his move to Spain.
De Gea, who is currently at Fiorentina, commented: "Suerte amigo," which translates to "Good luck, friend." The pair played together in Antony's first year at Old Trafford before De Gea's contract expired in 2023.
