Manchester United ended their impressive Europa League league phase campaign in style on Thursday night with a 2-0 win at FCSB. Now, attention turns back to the transfer window and there could be a number of deals completed.

In terms of incomings, a new attacker is expected to be the priority once Patrick Dorgu's move is sealed. Mathys Tel is said to want to join the club but there is a long queue of interested parties for the Bayern Munich striker.

Outgoings are where a large chunk of business could play out. Alejandro Garnacho's future remains unclear but his performance in Romania has led to more shouts for him to stay beyond Monday night's deadline.

So with that being said, The Manchester Evening News brings you the lowdown on the latest transfer gossip...

Tel 'agreement'

Not the news that you'd want to read but Tottenham are understood to have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for the signing of Mathys Tel.

A fee worth €60million (£50.2m) is said to be agreed with Spurs looking to strengthen their attack. L'Equipe have claimed the striker will now have to decide on his move, with him yet to make a decision.

United, as has been reported, only want a loan move. There is also interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.

MEN Sport says: "A shame because Tel would have been a decent signing for United. However, a loan move is pretty much pointless for United. Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund should be allowed the remainder of the season before a decision is made.

"Viktor Gyokeres seems destined to move to Old Trafford in the summer, if Amorim does decide for a change. So missing out on Tel isn't too tough."

Osimhen opportunity

On the subject of new strikers, Victor Osimhen could be one to keep an eye on. The Nigerian is currently on loan with Galatasaray but the Turkish giants are close to signing Alvaro Morata on loan from AC Milan.

The Spain international has reportedly approved a move to the club meaning Osimhen could be available. Napoli, Osimhen's parent club, remain in the market for Garnacho so a possible advantage for United?

MEN Sport says: "Osimhen would solve United's issues and rule out a move for Gyokeres. It would also mean Amorim could strengthen his attack now and watch the goals fly in before May. But, there remains so much to do for this deal to gather pace and which such little time left, it's hard to see it happening.

"One to keep an eye on, perhaps?"
