Man United loanee Antony slams Real Betis teammates just days after debut
Manchester United loanee Antony has questioned the mentality of his Real Betis teammates following Saturday's dramatic 3-2 defeat to Celta Vigo.
The 24-year-old joined the La Liga side on loan until the end of the season towards the end of the January transfer window. He grabbed an assist and was named man of the match on his debut against Athletic Bilbao before scoring his first goal since September at the weekend.
Antony opened the scoring just 10 minutes into the contest with a fine left-footed strike into the bottom corner. Diego Llorente made it 2-0 in the first-half but Betis failed to hold onto the win and succumbed to a 3-2 defeat.

Fran Beltran and Javi Rodriguez levelled the scoring before Williot Swedberg netted the winner in the 87th minute. Antony, who was booked earlier in the game and substituted in the 72nd minute, failed to hold his frustrations at the defeat.
"It's very difficult to understand that we lost this match," he told DAZN. "We started very well, we went 2-0 up but we have to change our mentality," and added: "We scored two goals, but we have to be focused throughout the match, the 90 minutes. We have to work better."
Antony then went on to urge his new teammates that they must work on their mindset for the remainder of the season. "We have to change our mentality," he added. "We have to start well and finish well.
"We have to work hard, look at what we are not doing well in order to get the three points in the next game."
Antony's impact since moving to Spain has been praised by Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini. After the loss to Vigo, the ex-Manchester City manager said: "Well, I think it was a very positive debut. He's a quality player.
"I was talking to him just before the game. I think a good player doesn't have to be constantly showing off his skills with the ball. He has to play a good game, make few mistakes and do two or three important things: a goal, a good pass, a good cross."
