Man United next signing once Patrick Dorgu and Mathys Tel transfers 'confirmed'
The January transfer window will close for business on Monday night and Manchester United still have plenty to do to improve Ruben Amorim's team.
United have undergone a muted window so far but their business is gathering pace in the final few days. The Red Devils are expected to add at least one player to Amorim's squad but work is underway to possibly another one.
Patrick Dorgu is expected to travel to England to conduct his medical this weekend ahead of a move from Serie A side Lecce. The left-back will arrive to bolster Amorim's left-back options following Luke Shaw's injury problems.

Reports on Friday claimed that United had contacted Bayern Munich over a loan move for Mathys Tel. A move for the 19-year-old is dependent on departures with the futures of Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Marcus Rashford playing a role in that.
Garnacho was the subject of strong interest from Chelsea and Napoli earlier in the window but a move has gone quiet recently. Rashford continues to be out of favour under Amorim and has been linked with a loan move to Barcelona.
A proportion of the open-heart surgery needed at United is expected to follow in the summer. A new striker is set to be the priority with Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres tipped to reunite with Amorim. Yet it's a different Sporting star looking likely to sign.
According to A Bola in Portugal, Geovany Quenda will move to Old Trafford for around £50million. The report adds that the move is 'certain' with The Manchester Evening News reporting earlier this month that United have been tracking him since August.
That report has also now been backed-up by The Athletic, which claims that United are exploring a deal for Quenda but that the club haven't made a formal offer yet. Despite A Bola suggesting the deal could cost around £50m, the report from England states it is expected to be more around £33.4m.
It could be the first of many deals between United and Sporting CP in the summer transfer window with Gyokeres and Morten Hjulmand also reportedly on the club's radar.
