Manchester United finally agree January loan deal for popular midfielder
Manchester United youngster Dan Gore is joining Rotherham on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Manchester Evening News reported earlier in the window that Gore was set to leave on a temporary deal and an agreement for the rest of the campaign has been struck with Rotherham.
Gore picked up a freak shoulder injury last summer and sustained a separate, smaller issue in October, which means his season has been stop-start, but he has started three successive games for the Under-21s and will look to make up for lost time during his stint on loan in League One.

The midfielder was handed his first-team debut in September 2023 but his progress has been disrupted by misfortune and a loan will provide a fresh challenge in a senior environment.
United have sent several youngsters on loan to League Two this season, but Gore will spend time in the third division and attempt to help Rotherham improve on their mid-table position.
Gore signed for Port Vale on loan in last year's January transfer window, although he suffered an injury in his first appearance and was unable to play for the club again.
United's coaches have prepared Gore in the last two months with a view to a loan departure and a source admitted in November that he needed to focus on returning to peak fitness.
Gore was part of the talented Under-18 side that won the FA Youth Cup in the 2021/22 season, starring alongside Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo under the guidance of Travis Binnion.
The 20-year-old joined the academy from Burnley as a teenager and he was originally a forward. He now plays in a deeper midfield position.
