Manchester United remain central to this January's transfer window, with rumours of incomings and outgoings either progressing or continuing to sprout.

Most recently Alejandro Garnacho has stolen the headlines. The 20-year-old is susceptible to sale at the right price and Chelsea are inching closer to forcing Man United's hand. They have 10 days remaining before the window slams shut to make their first official move.

The sale would open the door to Ruben Amorim to make considerable alterations to his squad. Not only might he look into an attack-minded signing, but over the weeks and days a left-sided full-back has seemingly been of most value.

With that said, MEN Sport completes a round-up of the latest Manchester United transfer headlines.

Dorgu rejection

Via Fabrizio Romano, Lecce have turned down a reported second offer for full-back Patrick Dorgu.

Following up on a first attempt, Man United were said to have offered €30m (£25.3m) hoping to get Amorim his next signing. Though this has backfired, with the Italians demanding €40m (£33.6m) without faltering.

The door is left open for another go at the deal, though ultimately Lecce will be happy to wait until the summer.

Gittens battle

Jamie Gittens has emerged as the next big English talent at Borussia Dortmund with 11 goals and five assists in 27 appearances this season.

Plenty of top teams have been linked with interest, and now Man United join that list too. Christian Falk states their name alongside Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Placed with a transfer fee of €100m (£84.3m), Dortmund's stance works in the English teams' favour. They would allegedly wish to sell to a foreign team rather than a direct rival.

Nkunku talks

Multiple sources, the first being ESPN, are saying Old Trafford chiefs have asked their Stamford Bridge counterparts to keep them informed of the conditions for Christopher Nkunku's transfer.

Sky Sports have since added that these conversations have taken place through intermediaries and Chelsea's conditions are known. They will accept no lower than £70m to consider a sale, though are not forcing one through.

They also doubt Man United's willingness and ability to pay that fee.

Antony exit

Antony has flown and will land in Spain on Friday night to finalise his short-term loan to Real Betis, Fabrizio Romano has reported.

Providing further details, he says Betis are set to cover 84 percent of the Brazilian's wages throughout the loan spell.

Rumoured to be on £200k per week by The Daily Mail, that means Man United would approximately be paying a £32k per week portion until the end of June.
