Mikel Arteta has already told Manchester United what they want to hear about next signing
If Mikel Arteta's word is anything to go by, Manchester United should be very excited about their potential next transfer recruit.
As reported by MEN Sport, Man United are closing in on a deal to bring Ayden Heaven, 18, to Old Trafford from the Emirates Stadium. His deal is not finalised though yet as there remains paperwork that still needs to be complete.
It would be a move that mirrors Chido Obi-Martin's arrival into the club's academy last summer. The forward - a former teammate of Heaven's - made the same leap from North London to the North West.

And in case Old Trafford supporters were wondering what they would be getting, they have actually already been given a first-hand glimpse. Last summer the teenager took part in the pre-season friendly between Man United and Arsenal in Inglewood, California.
Impressed afterwards, Arteta said: "I don’t know how many players are able to do that on a stage like this [at his age],. "He’s lost a duel against [Rasmus Hojlund], one of the strongest and fastest players in the world, it can happen.
"But the reaction afterwards, the composure, the quality, the body language that he had were all remarkable. I’m really happy with him."
Heaven has since gone on to make his full debut for the Gunners in the Carabao Cup - that match being a 3-0 quarter-final victory vs Preston North End at Deepdale.
"I’ve waited a long time. Today the day finally came, I’m just happy. I thank my teammates, my family and everyone that’s got me here, so yeah, I’m just really happy," the defender summarised.
"I feel like Mikel has trust in me. I feel that’s a big part in it and yeah, I just feel like there’s trust when it comes to making your competitive debut."
But Heaven appears to be on his way out of the club and towards Man United. In the months that have followed that debut, Arteta has only been able to afford a place on the bench on three occasions - not even full run-outs.
