Neil Shipperley sentenced for masturbating in public
Former Premier League striker Neil Shipperley has been sentenced to a 12-month community order for masturbating in front of a mother and her 16-year-old daughter.
The ex-Southampton and Crystal Palace player exposed himself to the two women in Hillingdon, west London, on 17 September. Shipperley drove up to the victims, wound down his window and stopped the vehicle.

As well as the community order, the 45-year-old must complete 20-days of rehabilitation as part of the order given at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court.
Prosecutor Shaan Sethi told the court that the mother and daughter "noticed he was holding his penis in his hand and staring directly at them".
The mother said she was "disgusted" by the sight. She said in her victim statement: "Some people may see flashers as pests or a nuisance to society. My view of Neil Shipperley is as a predator. His aim was to intimidate us, to violate us, to shock us and to scare us."
Shipperley will have to complete 120 hours of unpaid work, as well as pay £375 for various fees (costs, compensation and victim surcharge).
He is also subject to a sexual offences notification requirement order for five years and and must report to Hayes police station within the next three days.
