Oliver Glasner has said he will be relieved when the transfer window closes.

Palace have made one signing during the winter window, with Romain Esse joining from Millwall for £14.5million.

The Eagles are expected to be active on Monday, which is deadline day, with the club still hoping to close a deal for a left wing-back and considering options at centre-back too.

Palace climbed to 12th in the Premier League table on Sunday when they won 2-0 at Old Trafford against Manchester United thanks to Jean-Philippe Mateta.

“The first thing I’m pleased about is the performance today, the second thing is that the transfer window closes tomorrow,” Glasner said.

“We’ve had two really tough injuries with Cheick Doucouré and Chadi Riad missing for the rest of the season. Let’s see what will happen.

“But yesterday and today, my 100 per cent focus was on the players who can play.”

Glasner also revealed that Eberechi Eze will miss the FA Cup match against Doncaster Rovers on February 10.

Eze was supposed to be rested against United to try to sort out a knock he had been carrying, but he came off the bench on Sunday after Palace’s medical staff decided to move his rest period to the FA Cup game instead.

Glasner was delighted by his team’s performance at Old Trafford, saying: “I want to pass the congratulations on to the players, because they produced a next-level performance.”
