Manchester United target Patrick Dorgu has dropped a clear transfer hint after liking a social media post following their 1-0 win over Fulham on Sunday.

Ruben Amorim's side moved to within four points of the top half of the Premier League table thanks to Lisandro Martinez's deflected effort. There were jubilant scenes as the Argentine broke the deadlock 12 minutes from time before Amad's goal late on was chalked off after edging offside in the build-up.

Joshua Zirkzee was among the United contingent to celebrate the win on social media as United returned to winning ways in the top-flight. Dorgu offered his support by liking the post which was captioned: "Yanited."

The MEN reported last week that United were in talks with Italian side Lecce for the 20-year-old full-back. Amorim's side are keen to strengthen their wing-back options before the transfer window shuts in seven days (February 3).

Last week, talks were ongoing but nothing had been finalised with discussions likely to continue this week. Lecce president Sticchi Damiani expressed confidence in maintaining Dorgu's services this month.

"It's not yet time to go out on a limb about the names coming in, it's not official yet but there are a series of operations underway to complete a squad that deserves some tweaks," he said speaking to Sky Sport Italy.

"Even on possible exits, we've already said that the club is putting up a resistance, which I think is logical. We have an interest in keeping the players of interest for as long as possible, we have a complicated second half of the season to deal with.

"Then obviously there's common sense, but we're confident we can keep them."
