Plymouth player loses TOOTH after gruesome collision during Liverpool tie in FA Cup
A Plymouth Argyle player lost a tooth during the first-half of the fourth round FA Cup tie with Liverpool.
It was a fairly uneventful first-half although both sides had injury concerns. Joe Gomez was withdrawn after just 10 minutes of his first game since returning from a hamstring injury and was replaced by Isaac Mabaya.
Just six minutes later Green Army defender Nikola Katic lost a tooth during a collision with his own teammate. He was down briefly to receive treatment but has been able to carry on, his first contribution after that was a decisive clearing header, preventing Diogo Jota from breaking through on goal.

Manchester United, Newcastle, and Manchester City have all secured their spots in the last 16, but there was a surprise yesterday as Chelsea were knocked out by Brighton & Hove Albion.
Liverpool now faces the team at the bottom of the Championship, but Plymouth Argyle's form has improved recently, earning four points from their last two matches against Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion. They also secured a notable victory over Brentford in the third round.
Liverpool.com says: Despite the injury to Gomez and Katic losing a tooth it has been a relatively quiet first half with both teams having just one shot each so far
Plymouth would love nothing more to take another Premier League side out of the cup especially the side that sit top of the table. Arne Slot's side have a big 45 minutes ahead if they are going to progress to the next round.
