Rooney ready to end his career in America as 'MLS talks begin'
Wayne Rooney has already held “serious talks” about ending his career in the United States, which could see him move across the Atlantic as early as next month.
The Everton striker returned to Goodison Park last summer and the 32-year-old has had a frustrating ending to what appeared to be a good first season back at his boyhood club.

But reports this morning suggest the former England captain is ready to join DC United – and even though he is under contract the Toffees could let him leave so he can have a final pay day in America’s capital.
The Washington Post claimed overnight that the wheels are in motion for the move.
Although Everton’s under-pressure manager Sam Allardyce said that it would take a “massive bid” for the club to allow him to go.
“Do I want him to stay?” Allardyce asked. “Yes. There are rumours about Wayne going abroad – in China and America – but at the moment he is an Everton player and an Everton fan.”
The Premier League club would be set to receive a fee for the former Manchester United forward.
Everton end the season this weekend we they face a trip to West Ham United as the Toffees face their former manager David Moyes.
