I saw Man City players race to unsung hero as club DJ brutally mocks Chelsea - twice
Manchester City returned to winning ways after their disaster in Paris with a comeback win over Chelsea at the Etihad.
Abdukodir Khusanov gave away a goal just two minutes into his debut and was booked shortly after, but he recovered and so did City to draw level through Josko Gvardiol before the break.
Erling Haaland lobbed Robert Sanchez - who came out for a ball he was never going to reach - to put the home side ahead and Phil Foden completed the win late on. It was a welcome change from midweek, with less of the drama and more control (aside from the opening five minutes).

These are the moments you might have missed from an eventful night vs Chelsea:
Three players identify unsung hero in Haaland goal
When Ederson launched a guided missile into the Chelsea half and towards Haaland, Sanchez should have known better than to race out in the hope that Ederson's radar was off. Of course it wasn't, and Haaland controlled the ball, cut back inside Trevoh Chalobah, and curled over a stranded Sanchez.
As Haaland strolled off into the corner to celebrate, John Stones, Manu Akanji and Mateo Kovacic raced in the other direction to congratulate Ederson for his second assist of the season.
Moments later, City forced Sanchez into another rushed clearance that found Gvardiol, prompting Pep Guardiola to rally the crowd to try and keep the pressure on.
Marmoush expression says it all
Omar Marmoush lined up on the left wing on his debut and got stuck in instantly. He tested Sanchez after being found over the top, but the flag was up to deny him had he scored. Never mind, as Marmoush was involved and City looked like they had someone in that Julian Alvarez position that they have lacked all season.
He slid in for a dangerous Gvardiol cross, and the flag went up again, before his third offside proved the most costly. When Ilkay Gundogan's shot was spilled, he followed up but was clearly offside. As he ran off to celebrate, his ectacsy quickly turned into disbelief, and slowly a realisation. If he had not gone for the ball, Bernardo Silva was next to him but onside and City would have been level sooner.
One moment saw Marmoush track back, win the ball, and carry it over halfway, before keeping possession and sending City on their way. It was a box-to-box role City have not seen from any of their box-to-box players in a difficult campaign. So while the offsides need ironing out, the signs were there that Marmoush can fill a role that City have sorely missed.
City's extra squad member makes presence felt
There were three-fifths of a a defensive unit that would surely have started against Chelsea pitchside before the game as Rodri, Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake watched warm-ups from afar. All three are injured, but remain part of the first team picture and stay around the starters for support.
Dias' latest comeback from injury lasted just one-and-a-half games, while Ake is out again after five games back. Rodri travelled to Paris this week and was back on the team coach that arrived at the Etihad on Saturday even though he was never in contention to play.
He stood as the 12th player in the tunnel as the starters walked out before taking his place behind the bench, after he had joined Dias and Ake to watch the warm-ups with the trio sharing a long chat with substitute Kevin De Bruyne.
De Bruyne spent more time chatting and joking than actually warming up, as he joined Stones for a casual chat and left arm in arm with Dias. It didn't exactly look like De Bruyne had much intention to play against his old club ahead of the must-win visit of Club Brugge this week.
Friends reunited and PA mocks Chelsea
The storylines between the City and Chelsea camps were endless, and there was plenty of reunions at full-time. Guardiola had a long chat with Cole Palmer on the pitch and as they walked down the tunnel, while Rico Lewis and James McAtee chatted with England teammate Noni Madueke.
Plenty of City players went to Palmer, who remains popular in the home dressing room, but there were fewer handshakes for another ex-City graduate in Jadon Sancho - he was booed by the home fans when substituted.
Before the game, an expensive light show ended with Joy Division's 'Love will tear you apart' on the PA system, inviting City fans to sing about tearing Cockneys apart (again). It felt premature given City's tendency to collapse against direct teams but it was Joy Division first up at full time with the same song belted out from the stands.
City fans had been dancing to Madness to mock Chelsea supporter as they made an early exit. It was madness indeed that the final few minutes felt so relaxed after recent results - but City did what they needed to do.
